Can you Panic, Conestoga, Ragtime, or Cat Balou yourself?

In a game with FistFull, to try and get fewer cards in hand, a player plays a Rag Time to pick up a card in front of them. Is this allowed?

A player is in Jail, but Lasso is in effect, can teh player Panic their own Jail?

No you cannot play these cards to yourself.

Panic! allow take card in hand from player at distance 1.
Player always at distance 1 to himself.

Given it is allowed by the rules, I'd say it's against common sense (and taste) to use these cards against yourself.

It's not like you're going to rob yourself, although it is possible? The same thing goes about shooting yourself. According to rules you can (you are distance 1 to yourself, but why would anyone do it? (well of course for combos, but I still find that ludicrous)

I shall house-rule it to a NO!

according to the rules you can panic/cat balou yourself but you cannot shoot yourself
