If Lasso is in play, and a player is in jail, is the jail card disregarded?

Is so, do you discard the jail or does it stay until that player's next turn?

with the Lasso the cards in play in front of the players [i:a7d3b3f379]have no effect[/i:a7d3b3f379]. The Jail stays and it takes effect in the following turn, when Lasso effect is ended (if not discarded in the meanwhile)
